Sri Lanka (2019). Living in South Sri Lanka became a home away from home. The kindness and generosity of the culture was overwhelming. A sensory richness and vibrancy of colours like no other place and a delight to photograph.
Tokyo, Japan (2018). Japan has been a constant source of visual inspiration. Tokyo in particular has been the most memorable and spiritual place that resonated with me and lived up to all expectations. These strangers of Tokyo became a primary focus in understanding a glimpse into contemporary Japanese culture.
Istanbul, Turkey (2012). Istanbul is the gateway between Eastern and Western civilisation and is an intensely rich sensorial experience with the best markets I’ve ever seen. The strangers of Istanbul I met along the way were such warm souls with so much generosity and kindness.
Venice, Italy (2014). ‘The floating city’ that should only exist in a work of fiction and a place you must see for yourself to fully comprehend. I could spend weeks just getting lost in the backstreets and waterways of Venice, documenting the decay as the water levels rise.
